For some reason I continuously find myself worrying about the smallest things. Things I can't control, things that really shouldn't be affecting me this much but my mind is so wrapped around them. It keeps me up at night.
The stress translates into so many areas of my life and has an effect on my overall happiness. What is the point of focusing on something so minuscule just to cloud the good things that are happening around me? I am just missing out.
I have started to switch around my mindset and consciously focus on the things that increase my happiness rather than suppress it. Settling into the bad in this world will just send me into a never ending spiral into stress and darkness because let's face it, there's a whole lot of darkness in this world. In the midst of all of that though, are things that really make living life GREAT.
That's what I need to focus on.
