One other cool thing about these colors is that they blend so nicely so you can use 'Phresh,' 'Orange You Fancy,' or even that 'Punch Fuschia' as a transition color blended really nice with one of the light or dark matte shadows on the lid. It is really nice because it kind of gives the effect of using three colors because those colors meet seamlessly in the middle making a new color. This palette is just so much fun and there are endless amounts of combinations that create COMPLETELY different looks. One other thing that surprised me is that I loved the brush that came in the palette. Normally I kick that brush to the curb once I get a new palette but that fluffy end is PERFECT for blending out those areas where colors meet in the crease and even applying the transition color.
If pictures could do these colors justice I would have included some of the looks that I have come up with this past week but I am going to just kind of explain some of the color combos I made.
Quick and easy ideas:
'Orange You Fancy' as the transition, make it as subtle or bold as you want, the look works either way.
'Blue Velvet' on the lid, first pack that on to the lid, I added NYX Black Bean Jumbo Eye pencil as a base just on the lid to intensify that color but applying additional primer to that area will do the same thing. For this, do not go past the crease just yet.
Once you've done that, get a tighter brush (used my MAC 217) and get some more of that 'Blue Velvet' and start to blend out that harsh line between the two colors. Go as high up as you want, this can turn into a nice smokey blue eye look once it is done.
I taped up the sides of my eyes to get that nice clean line and then started to place 'Orange You Fancy' on a fluffy brush and apply that a little higher than I would normally put the transition color.
Next I blended 'Punch Fuschia' just underneath that into the crease, even a little onto the lid making sure to blend those VERY well. No visible line between the two colors. The orange color should kind of be a little less intense by now, the upper crease should just be a little warmer looking, not ORANGE.
for the lid I got 'Dusty Rose' and put that all over the lid and blended that into the crease with the purple. At this point is should all be very very blended and the purple now should also be muted just as we did with the orange.
At the end I just smudged a little of the orange underneath the bottom lashes to brighten it up. This is a totally messy look kind of just blending a whole lot together. Seems like a MESS but turns out pretty nice to me.
Hope this was a little helpful. I had fun playing with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
